3. Establish an exercise routine.  Besides the good it does to your heart and body, exercising also brings an increased amount of oxygen and nutrients to the skin.  What is more, an exercise routine helps the body produce its natural moisturizer, the sebum.

4. Stop smoking and avoid drinking.  Apart from the complex damage it causes on the respirator system, smoking also destroys the Vitamin C supply in our bodies, affecting the elastic tissues which keep the skin tight.  On the other hand, liquor leads to an expansion of blood vessels, causing itchiness and red spots on the skin.

5.  Protect your skin.  There are plenty of elements which can seriously damage the skin and cause irritation and infections.  A sunscreen of at least SPF 15 is recommended every time one gets exposed to sunlight.  The fairer you are, the higher the SPF factor should be in order to avoid the ravages of harsh elements on your skin.

6. Cleanse your skin.  The overall wellness of skin is also greatly influenced by cleaning.  Skin specialists agree that one should use gentle cleansers, toners, moisturizers and exfoliating treatments in order to preserve the good condition of our skin.

7.  Get all the rest you need.  Stress can be extremely bad for one’s skin and body, as it leads to instability in the hormonal system and to problems suck as breakouts and acne.  Your skin takes its time to heal and rejuvenate only when you rest, so make sure you give it plenty of time to do so.
